Articulated Wiwaxia's have until now only been reported from the Burges Shale.
They are more commonly found as isolated spines and sclerites.
Specimens from the Emu Bay Shale are thus the oldest articulated forms
yet recorded. They are probably spiny annelids or molluscs. |
